One of the easiest ways to make our program sustainable is to meal prep on the weekends or when you have downtime, so those moments when you're rushed you can throw together a healthy meal in under 15 min.
One thing we always whip a batch up of on weekends is chicken or turkey meatballs. They're so easy and pair well with any kind of compliant sauce. Simply reheat, add sauce of choice, and serve over a mix of cauliflower rice and sautéed veggies and you're good to go with a healthy meal in minutes!
Our easy recipe for meatballs and a orange ginger sauce follow- but there are hundreds of compliant sauce options. Many of the Noble Made by New Primal sauces are compliant-- we love the buffalo or mustard BBQ. If you want to try an Asian spin, our recipe for an orange ginger "glaze" follows below. It's perfect over meatballs, but pairs well with any protein or veggie of choice. It will keep up to two weeks in the fridge, so make a batch to have on hand for any easy meal!
Paleo Air Fried Turkey Meatballs with Orange Ginger Glaze
The word "glaze" usually sends us reeling because it typically means loaded with sugar! But our cleaned up version is still sticky and sweet but without all the refund sugar or honey.
Note: We love loading up our meatballs with veggies and making them in 1 oz sizes so each meatball is really a 1/2 ounce of meat. This recipe should make roughly 24 meatballs. For a serving of 3 oz of protein you can have 6 meatballs.
